'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane dampens on Premier League return

Kane celebrates his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has declared that his enthusiasm in coming back to the Premier League has faded and he is open to explore a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The accomplished striker is presently midway through the four-year agreement he agreed to when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the offseason of 2023.

The experienced forward has accumulated an outstanding 103 goals in 106 games for the German side, contributing them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which marked the first significant trophy of his illustrious career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has previously mentioned that he would welcome to see Kane go back to England, where he needs 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring feat of 260.

However, the England leader has now indicated that he is no longer as eager about returning home as he once was, and would certainly consider lengthening his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of extending longer, I could certainly see that," he stated.

"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be prepared to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so goes and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not considering about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different options and different timings happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the historic top scorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the quickest player this century to reach 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five leagues, attaining the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a trophy had eluded him until he lifted the German title last season.

Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would react after ending his trophy drought, but now believes it has made him eager for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.

"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
